One word - Hosting. Actually, four words - Domain Registration and Hosting. In order for your website to be seen by your adoring fans, or more likely your potential customers, you'll need both.
DOMAIN REGISTRATION
Your Domain Name is your identity on the Internet. It's used to view your website, but also to send you email. Without it, you're pretty much anonymous. Your Domain Name is an important part of your 'web presence', and should be given careful consideration.
If you don't already own your Domain Name then give me call. I can help you find the right one, and register it with the appropriate organisations. Prices for domain registration vary according the length of registration and the domain extension (e.g .co.uk / .com / .net etc), but I can give you more information when we talk.
DOMAIN HOSTING
As well as the Domain Name, your website needs a place to stay. The Domain Name is like your home address, and the Hosting is the actual house you live in.
My standard hosting package costs £95.00 per year, and includes all the web space, bandwidth and email addresses that you're ever likely to need. It includes a management control panel, cgi-scripts, and mySQL databases.
It is more than suitable for the simplest holding page, right through to database driven e-commerce sites, and your site will be hosted on state-of-the-art web servers.
Although I offer the complete 'web' package, I can also provide you with Domain Registration, Hosting or Web Design independently of each other, allowing you full control over your site.
